Houses

Houses split the wheel into twelve life-topic sectors anchored to birth place and time. Signs describe style; houses describe terrestrial topics (career, home, relationships, etc.).

How cusps are stored

House cusps are ecliptic longitudes. A planet’s house is the interval containing its λ. Angles (ASC, MC, …) are special cusps — chart-points, chart-angles.

Default: Placidus

BirthInput defaults to Placidus when the chart builder computes houses. Unequal houses from time-based quadrant division; MC = 10th cusp.

Without birth time

Omit or treat house data as unreliable; planetary signs may still be computed from a nominal instant — birth-time-accuracy.
