Centers

The bodygraph has nine centers — energy/information hubs rooted in the chakra system, adapted for the nine-centered form. Each has a theme; defined (colored) vs open (white) changes how you live that theme and how conditioning enters.

Think of centers as communities linked by channels; definition is the reliable wiring between them (see definition).

The nine centers

Center Theme Note
Head (Crown) Inspiration, mental pressure, questions center-head
Ajna (Mind) Conceptualizing, opinions, certainty center-ajna
Throat Expression, manifestation, communication center-throat
G (Self) Identity, direction, love center-g
Heart (Ego) Willpower, worth, promises center-heart
Solar Plexus (Emotions) Feelings, emotional wave, desire center-solar-plexus
Sacral Life force, work energy, sexuality center-sacral
Spleen Intuition, health, survival in the now center-spleen
Root Adrenal pressure, stress, drive to finish center-root

Defined vs open

State Defined (colored) Undefined / open (white)
Energy Consistent, reliable; you broadcast Inconsistent internally; amplify others
Wisdom Live your theme steadily Learn via patterns over time
Conditioning risk Assume everyone shares your fixed theme Absorb others’ definition as “yours”; mind decides from openness

Open (undefined with no gates touching the center) is especially receptive. IHDS teaching: each open center has a not-self strategy that impacts mental decision-making when the mind leads instead of type-strategy and authority.

Genetic attraction

Humans are pulled toward what they are not — a genetic law for the gene pool that also fuels conditioning in white centers. Strategy sidesteps the trap; centers explain where amplification hurts.

Type and authority connection

types depend on Sacral definition and motor→Throat wiring — not on how many centers are defined (except reflector with none).

authority follows defined Solar Plexus, Sacral, Spleen, Heart, or G (strategy field in humandesign.chart).

channels connect two centers when both end gates are active across personality and design.
