Conjunction

Conjunction

A conjunction joins two chart factors at roughly the same ecliptic longitude (0° separation, within orb). Their significations merge and intensify; the blend can be focused or overwhelming depending on the planets involved.

Conjunctions are neither traditionally “harmonious” nor “difficult” by angle alone—context comes from the planets, sign, houses, and further aspects. A Sun–Mercury conjunction near the Sun’s path is common; outer-planet conjunctions to personal planets mark generational or slow-moving themes.

In aspect matrices and natal-wheel graphics, conjunctions are often drawn as a single merged emphasis or a very short link. See aspects and orbs.
