Minor aspects
Minor aspects refine the aspect grid beyond the five majors in aspects. They use tighter orbs (often 1°–3°) because the angle is subtler.
| Aspect | Angle | Typical tone |
|---|---|---|
| Semisextile | 30° | mild link between adjacent signs |
| Semisquare (octile) | 45° | friction, irritation |
| Sesquiquadrate (trioctile) | 135° | sustained agitation |
| Quincunx (inconjunct) | 150° | adjustment between incompatible modes |
| Quintile / Biquintile | 72° / 144° | specialized talent, craft |
Not every chart package draws minors on the natal-wheel; matrix outputs may list them separately. Treat minors as supporting evidence after majors (square, trine, etc.).
